Beyond being visually stunning, I really enjoyed Sucker Punch. And no, not because of the apparent “girls kicking ass” or “girl power” elements (feminism is much less important to me than individualism). Say what you will about the movie, but the message is the sucker punch (har har).

…I’m leaving for NYC in 31 days! Flight & hotel officially booked.
To do list:
1. Hit the gym with a vengeance.
2. Outfit planning/shopping.
3. Buy travel-sized items with sheer giddiness.
4.Decide which restaurant/food stops we’ll make (Momofuku? L’Atelier? Buddakan? Falai? WD~50? Le Bernardin?)…that is if we can manage reservations.
5. Plan. Meticulously....
